With the CoVet integration, you can turn exam room conversations into complete documentation and automated next steps, giving your team more time to focus on patients and the ability to act on deeper clinical insights. This article explains how to enable this integration for your practice.
Before you start

- First, sign a contract with CoVet if you want to use this integration. If you already have a CoVet contract, let CoVet know that you want to use this integration. If you don’t have a contract yet, visit the CoVet website for more information.
- You need permission to be able to open the Integrations Hub. Permissions can be adjusted by your practice administrator in Settings > General Settings > Role Management.
Step-by-step instructions
- Go to Settings > General Settings > Integrations Hub.
- In the CoVet tile, click +Install.
- Read the information about the data exchange between Animana and CoVet. If you agree, select the checkbox and click Continue.
- The CoVet tile now displays the message “Action required”. In the CoVet tile, click Configure.
- Copy the activation code by clicking the Copy button, and enter the activation code in your CoVet account. You will also need to enter your Animana practice name here. Tip: this is the same as the start of your Animana web address (URL).
- Under the heading “Locations”, select the locations where you use CoVet.
- Click Save.
As soon as CoVet has approved the request, the status changes to “Active” and a green checkmark appears next to the integration.

How do I remove the CoVet integration?
- Go to Settings > General Settings > Integrations Hub.
- In the CoVet tile, click the three dots in the top right corner.
- Click Uninstall.
- A pop-up window appears. Read the information carefully, and if you are sure you want to discontinue the integration, click Yes, uninstall this integration.
