How do I create a stock report?

Every time you add a new product, sell a product, place an order, or make any other changes in your product database, the inventory information in Animana is updated. If you want insight into the current status of your inventory, you can easily export stock data and convert it into a report in Excel or PDF. This article explains how to create and export a stock report.

You need to have permission to be able to access stock management. User permissions can be adjusted by your practice administrator in Settings > General Settings > Role Management.

Step-by-step instructions

    1. Go to Extra > Stock > Stock List.
    2. At the top, click the button Export.
    3. In the next screen, select the format preference for your data export. The options are Excel (.xlsx) or PDF (.pdf).
    4. Select the report you want to export from the list of default reports. More about this.
    5. Click Export Excel/PDF.

You can find your exported file in your Downloads folder on your computer.

Available stock reports

You can choose to export one of the following reports:

  • Stock count report
    • Fields included in the export: In stock, Product name, Notes, Supplier, Storage, List price order unit, Cost price order unit, Package factor, Order factor, List price sales unit, Cost price sales unit, Sales price, Value list price, Value cost price.
  • Wastage report
    • Fields included in the export: Product group, Editing date, Incoming quantity, Outgoing quantity, Name, Batch number, Expiry date, Reason for editing, Editing notes, Notes, Supplier, Storage, List price order Unit, Cost price order unit, Package factor, Order factor, List price sales unit, Cost price sales unit, Sales price, Value list price, Value cost price.
