We are pleased to announce that all issues with access to patient files have been resolved. As of today (12th September), patient files are accessible again in all scenario’s.


10.32 CET, 6th September 2023

We are pleased to announce that the issue with an empty species in protocols affecting access to patient files has been resolved. The fix has been successfully deployed overnight, and as of this morning (6th September), patient files are accessible again.

There is still 1 known scenario at present that may prevent users from opening the patient file.

This problem occurs when the action buttons are already personalised, but a custom protocol is subsequently removed.

We currently estimate that a fix will be deployed before the end of this week, and patient files will be accessible again by 9th September.

In the meantime, you may follow the below steps to make the patient file viewable.

Go to User Settings -> Patient & Herd File Settings -> set your custom settings to default using the button Reset actions to default

We have identified a problem opening patient files if you have configured a custom protocol with an empty species.

We currently estimate that a fix will be deployed overnight, and patient files will be accessible again tomorrow morning (6th September).

In the meantime, you may follow the below steps to make the patient file viewable.

Users with the permission “custom protocols”, or Animana administrator, must review all custom protocols in Settings > General Settings > Custom Protocols, and ensure that each custom protocol has either:

  1. A valid species, e.g:

    OR
  2. no species filter (click the [X] to remove the filter)
