2025-05-30 Auto-selection of batch numbers
16:10 CET, 3rd June 2025
This original defect has now been resolved, and the batch auto-select is now working as expected.
Our team has investigated this issue and discovered that from May 26 to May 30 at 15:15 CET, if auto-select batches were manually overridden, Animana may have selected an incorrect batch, in which case, both the label and stock quantity will relate to the auto-selected batch instead of the manually selected one.
While there is no easy way to identify affected products, creating a “Products out” report (Extra > Reports > Product out) for the period above, including “batch only”, and comparing this to your stock levels may reveal inaccuracies.

A fix has now been developed and will be available tomorrow. If you had the batch auto-selection feature enabled previously, it will be re-enabled tomorrow at 8am (CET), and will automatically select the batch with the shortest expiry date.

Our development team is currently testing a fix for this issue, which we expect to be available tomorrow morning. We are also investigating its impact further.
