Step-by-step instructions

- Click the arrow behind the magnifying glass and select Patient from the drop-down menu.
- Click Enter.
You will see a list of search results of all patients with the name you entered. Click on the correct patient to open their patient record.
More about this
I have a lot of search results, how do I find the right patient?
In the search bar at the top, you can combine the following information to get better search results: client data, address and patient data. These search criteria must be entered in a special order, namely:
<client data>,<address>,<patient data>
- Taking into account the special order, the combined search looks like this: burrows, parkway, pooky.
- Click the arrow behind the magnifying glass and select Client from the drop-down menu (if it wasn’t already selected).
- Click Enter.
You will now only find Pooky Burrows, living on Parkway, in your search results. Note that you will also see the inactive patients who match the search query.
I don’t want to see inactive patients in my search results, how do I set this up?
When you’ve done a query following the <client data>,<address>,<patient data> format, you can uncheck the box “include inactive patients” at the top of the search results to make sure you only see active patients in your search results.
Your setting will be remembered on this device for next time. So should you have unchecked that box, your next search will also show active patients only.
Which fields are searched exactly?
The query <client data>,<address>,<patient data> searches the following information in Animana:
- Client data: first name, surname, email, visible notes and client code.
- Address: street, house number, postcode, city and country.
- Patient data: name, species, breed and patient number.
