How do I print an X-Ray label?

When you have a patient that needs an x-ray, you can easily print an x-ray label from the patient file to help file and identify x-rays. This article will explain how to print an x-ray label from Animana.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open the patient file of the patient.
  2. Click the button X-ray label. Depending on your settings, you will find this option either in the row of blue action buttons at the top or in the “More actions” drop-down menu at the top left of the patient file.
  3. In the “date” field, enter the date that the x-ray was taken.
  4. “Owner” will be automatically filled in, but can also be edited here if necessary.
  5. In the field “direction” you can add the side from which the x-ray was made.
  6. The species and patient name will be entered automatically in the field “patient”.
  7. Enter the voltage the X-ray was taken at in the field “Voltage”.
  8. Enter the current (power) the X-ray was taken at in the field “exposure”.
  9. Use the “free text” field to enter any associated text you would like to appear on the X-ray label.
  10. Click Print to print the label to your label printer.
