The Reminder interaction is available only within the Patient file and Herd file.
You can manually create a patient-related reminder for various activities using the Reminder interaction. Note that this creates the reminder in the system – it does not send the reminders (reminders are sent from Worklist> Reminders).
Remind Date
Enter the date for the reminder to be sent.
Reminder Type
Reminders can be of several types, for example a reminder to make a phone-call, or a reminder for flea-treatment.
In worklist > reminders there is a filter on these type of reminders. The type call is displayed in the box calls on the left side of the diary. The type condolence is displayed in the box condolences on the left side of the diary.
Remind period
Instead of entering a reminder date you can fill in a remind period. For example 365 days.
Reminder Text
Enter the text associated with the reminder. This text can be used in labels, letters, emails or text messages sent to clients. It usually describes the reminder. For example: Rabies. This field is not mandatory.
Saving the reminder
Save the reminder using the save button. Remember that the reminder will be created in the system are to be sent using Worklist> Reminders.
Automatically generated reminders
Reminders can be automatically generated if you add them to a product in extra > products > products. When you add a product with a reminder attached it is automatically put into the patient/herd file.
Editing Reminders
All reminders are editable. Click on the reminder to make changes and save the changes.
