IDEXX Smartflow is integrated with Animana, this means you are able to send patient information and treatments between the two software products. You can also sync products in a product group and combi products you have in Animana to SmartFlow and back. This article will explain how to synchronise products between the two.
Before you start

- Synchronising products will only work by selecting product groups. It is not possible to sync an individual product from Animana to SmartFlow.
Step-by-step Instructions
- Go to > General Settings > SmartFlow.
- Click the blue Sync button next to the correct location.
- Tick the boxes in front of the Product Groups and combi products you wish to sync.
- Click Sync To SmartFlow at the bottom of the page.
- A confirmation message will show that the action is completed. Click the Refresh button to see the updated information.

How do I know if the sync was succesful?
In step 3 above you will see a table with 3 columns. The first column (“Name”) specifies the name of the product group, the second column (“Products”) specifies the number of products in that product group and the third column (“Sync status”) specifies how many products have been synced. So if the number in the 2nd and 3rd column is the same, then all products have been synchronised between Animana and SmartFlow.
How can I unsync products?
- Go to > General Settings > SmartFlow.
- Click the blue Sync button next to the location.
- Tick the boxes in front of the products you want to unsync.
- Click Delete from SmartFlow.
- A confirmation message will show that the action is completed. Click the Refresh button to see the updated information.
