Usually, the administrator of your Animana account will add your user data. It is possible to edit some of your user data yourself. This article will explain which user data you can edit in Animana yourself and how to go about it.
Step-by-step instructions
- Go to > User settings.
- On the left-hand side, click User Data.
- Edit the data that you want. More about this.
- Click Save at the bottom.

Which fields can I edit myself?
You can enter or edit the following fields:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Code | This code will be displayed along most information added to the patient/client file (such as consultation, products, notes, client orders, estimates) and tasks and diary appointments to show which user made this addition/edit. We advise to use your initials. |
Veterinary Professional Number | Your vet professional number. It will be automatically added to written prescriptions. |
Title | Your title. |
First name | Your first name. |
Surname | Your surname. |
Language | This determines in which language you will see Animana. |
Authentication email | The email address you want to use to log into Animana. This should be your individual practice email address, not a shared account. |
Mailing email | The email address you wish to appear in customer communications, such as letters and emails. |
Mobile | Your mobile phone number. |
Birth date | Your date of birth. |
Colour | This determines the avatar colour at the top right corner of your screen. |
CalDAV password | You need this password to let your Animana appointments sync with your iPhone. See the Related articles for more information. |
Appointment column | This will assign you to a particular Appointment Column if you decide to use the diary function on an iPhone. More information about establishing a connection between Animana and an iPhone can be found at the Related articles section. |
Appointment group | The group that you select here will be shown as the default tab in your Animana diary. |
Location | Select the location where you work most often. |
Use location on log in | Select ‘yes’ to log in directly to the chosen location in the field above when logging in. |
