What preparations do I need to do before closing a bookyear?

Before closing your bookyear in Animana, you have to make sure that all your practice’s financial data has been processed in Animana.       How depreciation is booked in your practice depends on your accountant’s preference. So contact your accountant to discuss how to process depreciation in Animana.
    9. Count the money in your safe and note the amount

I don't see a ledger from the previous year in the new year?
This is because your Animana ledger scheme is automatically copied to the following year by us on December 1st . Your ledger was probably created after December 1st and is therefore not copied over. You can recreate the ledger in the new financial year. Follow the steps in this article:

In Animana you cannot enter a date filter in this report. There are 2 possible solutions to determine the value on December 31st. You determine the stock value on the day itself or – if you do stock management during the year – you use the square equation for all products and combine it based on the productID with the price data on the stock list in Excel to determine the value per date.
